Gamma Ball Rally 2022

We’re going on an ad-van-ture!

Al and the Silver Lining gang will participate in this year’s Gamma Ball Rally to raise money for Special Effect Charity and Action through Enterprise. They will be racing around various European locations in their trusted old banger, crossing borders and raising awareness along the way.

The challenge: 

Bring an old banger, and starting in the UK, compete for the Gamma Ball Rally crown by travelling to Belgium, Switzerland and France to battle it out on 4 different race tracks in 4 different countries in 4 days!

Itinerary: 

Tuesday 20th – Brands Hatch 

• Hotel: Mercure

Wednesday 21st – Brands Hatch / Brussels

• 08:00 – 09:00 – Arrival / Collect Pack / Breakfast
• 09:00 – Briefing 
• Activities

Event 1: Need For Speed Competition – The first test for your car is a 0-60-0mph challenge on the Rally loop track.

Event 2: Blind Mans Buff Best Dressed Competition – Backwards, and blindfold is the way forward!

Event 3: Big Balls Driving Challenge – We’ll leave this one up to your imagination.

• 12:00 – Drive to Eurotunnel to begin the journey to Brussels 
• Arrive at the hotel and relax for the next day’s challenges 

Thursday 22nd – Strasbourg (France) 

• 09:00 – Drive to Chateau du Pont d’Oye 1, Rue du Pont d’Oye for team building challenges 
• 12:00 – Challenges begin
• 16:00 – Drive to Hotel (Strasburg) 
• Hotel: Maison Rouge

Friday 23rd – Geneva (Switzerland)

• 08:00 – Drive to Colmar, France  
• 10:00 – Treasure Hunt
• 12:30 – 13:00 – Submit answers
• 13:00 – Drive to Hotel in Geneva 
• 18:30 – Pre-dinner drinks 
• 19:30 – Gala dinner 
• 21:30 – Charity Auction 
• Hotel: Fairmont

The Team will then make their way home in their trusty (or untrusty) old banger!
